About Me
I was born and raised in Southern California and spread my wings in Providence, Rhode Island. Yes, I fit the California stereotypes; long walks on the beach, an avocado a day, hot yoga, beach volleyball… but I am also driven to explore the world and everything else it has to offer. In 2016, I started at Brown University, played four years of Division I volleyball, and in May of 2020, graduated with honors in business and entrepreneurship. From this experience, I have found an entirely new and unexpected love for New England; snowy walks on cobblestone streets, a Dunkin’ a day, apple picking, and most importantly, The Patriots (and no, I am not trying to bandwagon).
After graduating college, I spent two and a half years in New York City where I continued to grow professionally and personally. My career started with a position as a sales rep at CloudKitchens and has developed through 4 promotions into a Paid Marketing Manager Role. As a passion project, I also started SimpleShots, an alcohol brand focused on creating better-for-you beverages, which I have built from the ground up. Starting from the initial investment phase, to product development, and now to the go-to-market phase, I have managed everything including operations, project management, and digital marketing.
My city life has most recently pivoted to a mountain life as I continue to explore what the U.S. has to offer. This change in scenery has grounded me and encouraged me to dive deeper into the things I love most, and with that, I want my career to follow suit. While I still work to progress my corporate career, I am also working to develop my freelance portfolio. Not only have I started to support brands and products that I am passionate about with sales and awareness growth through paid marketing, but I have also started to dive deeper into my love for photography and hope to continue to explore how it can creatively elevate my marketing campaigns.
In college and through the start of my career, I have found a passion for advertising and digital creation. When I see a beautifully created commercial, an artfully complex campaign, or perfectly composed photographs, I am genuinely excited by the impact it can have, not only on consumerism, but also on top global trends and movements. I find myself driven to have a strong voice that captures consumers of all interests and walks of life. I find myself excited to strategically solve business problems through a marketing lens. And finally, I find myself inspired to create impactful marketing campaigns that can spearhead unprecedented growth.
